One of my favorite things to do in San Francisco is to walk along the ocean at Crissy Field, which is a part of the Golden Gate National Park Conservancy. The view is spectacular, and the people watching is fantastic.
It was a wonderful shoot working with Charlie Brackney and his creative team from HAUS Salon. Charlie’s vision for the Fall Winter 2011 Collection was inspired by Alexander McQueen. I collaborated with Steve Niedorf, who handled the jib and camera on the motion shoot. It truely was a team effort. Here are a few stills from the shoot and the motion project.
I’m excited to partner up with Wonderful Machine, who is representing me nationally. I’m impressed by how current they are, coming up with innovative ways to show portfolios, via you tube and vimeo, blogging about their artists and showing motion work. I also love their clean and easy to navigate website. I was surprised to see one of my images featured on their blog after only being with them for 3 days! wonderfulmachine.com/blog/page/2/
What a fun day, twenty shots, all different locations with real kid talent! This amazing school in Shakopee is so beautiful and had tremendous amounts of available light for us to shoot in. All the kids were so amazing and fantastic models. A big Thank you goes to all the kids who came in on their day off, and participated in the photo shoot. Thanks to my superb crew who kept me on track as we moved quickly from shot to shot. I’m ready for round 2 which is in a few weeks. Great art direction from Will Gunderson and Creative director Martha Pette. Hats off to Michael Pette who did an incredible job scheduling all 40+ kids and teachers. Angelia, hair and makeup artist from Moore Creative Talent kept all our kids looking great.
